What are ELI Codes?
ELI Technology® leverages both QR and Bar Code technologies and has taken the scanning experience to the next level! We support your ability to incorporate your brand logo and colors into the user experience. You are the innovator!
ELI Codes are programmable and you do not have to generate a new code any time you want to update the scanning experience.
From Product Manufacturers that leverage bar-codes or any business who uses QR code technology, once you create an ELI Code you can simply update ALL the content in real-time. When you use existing QR code technology today, you cannot change what it is connected to. For manufacturers, the real-estate on your product can be a consideration, so we leverage your bar-code on the product that drives customers to your ELI experience that you control.
How do I scan ELI Codes?
You can scan an ELI Code with iOS camera or for Android Bixby. You can also use any QR Code reader app, however we highly recommend using our Envision ELI Scanning App which is free in both Apple and Android app stores as we scan both ELI Codes, QR and Bar-Codes. Check it out for yourself and experience the difference!
How do I download my ELI Code?
When you are logged into the ELI Administration site, you can simply download the ELI Code to your device.
Why are my ELI Codes not working?
Go to the Free Trial tab or the Billing and Subscription tab above.
ELI CODES
ELI Technology® supports your ability to store unlimited destinations on a single Code or Barcode at any time without having to change the Codes or Barcodes themselves. Based on the number of ELI Codes you license, we also provide an additional five ELI codes that you can create and toggle licenses when you update your marketing campaigns for optimal success. You can simply “unlicensed” one of your Codes and “license” one of the additional five that could support seasonal campaigns without ever having to change the Codes you have printed and distributed!
ELI Codes support your digital marketing planning so that your campaigns can have the superior flexibly to change your message anytime you desire!
THE PURPOSE OF ELI CODES
No matter how or where you market your ideas, products or services, ELI Codes® will have an impact on mobile marketing reaching a wide range of your target audience with more information than ever!
ELI Technology® is the critical marketing tool in reaching your prospective consumers, clients or customers. ELI Codes provide multiple direct links to virtually anything you can display on a web page with a single scan.
When an ELI Code is scanned, they will be instantly more engaged with your advertisements or marketing messages as they have actively engaged to receive more information. If a customer is using the Free ELI App, they will retain all the information presented in the scan in the history menu selection and can retrieve it again later! They can also share the scanning result on social media channels increasing your presence online.
The scan of an ELI Code will be registered in your analytics and if the customer shares on social media and then others click on the share, it will also be counted! We also provide you the ability to associate your Google Analytics tracking code to each ELI Code! All of these capabilities provide you real time insights into how users find and use your codes in any advertising, social or marketing campaign.

Description |
aztec |
Yes | Yes | Aztec codes are 2D barcodes used by the transportation industry, particularly for tickets and airline boarding passes. The barcodes can still be decoded even if they have bad resolution, making them useful both when tickets are printed poorly and when they’re presented on a phone. In addition, they can take up less space than other matrix barcodes because they don’t require a surrounding blank “quiet zone,” unlike some other 2D barcode types.
Industry: Transportation |
codabar |
No | Yes | Codabar barcodes are used by logistics and healthcare professionals, including U.S. blood banks, FedEx, photo labs, and libraries. Its main benefit is that it is easy to print and can be produced by any impact style printer, even a typewriter. Therefore, a user can create many Codabar codes using consecutive numbers without the use of a computer. It was designed to be readable when printed from dot matrix printers for multi-part forms. Codabar is a discrete, self-checking symbology that encodes up to 16 different characters with an additional 4 start/stop characters.
Variations: Codeabar, Ames Code, NW-7, Monarch, Code 2 of 7, Rationalized Codabar, ANSI/AIM BC3-1995, USD-4 Industry: Logistics, Healthcare and Education |

Code39 barcodes (or Code 3 of 9) are used to label goods across many industries and are often found in the automotive industry and the US department of Defense. It allows the use of both digits and characters, and its name originates in the fact that it could only encode 39 characters—though in its most recent version the character set has been increased to 43. It’s similar to, but not as compact as, the Code 128 barcode, which we’ll talk about next.

Like Code 39, it Code 93 comes with full ASCII support, but it improves upon and complements Code 39. Whenever scanning is enabled, a notification will appear. If nothing happens, you may have to go to your Settings app and enable QR Code scanning. HOW TO SCAN ELI CODES WITH IOS 11 IPHONE CAMERA APP

Take a detailed look on iOS 11’s new feature below.
With iOS 11, Apple has added support for scanning QR codes natively within the Camera app.

HOW DO I SCAN ELI CODES WITH IPHONE OR IPAD IN OLDER IOS VERSIONS?
We always recommend updating to the latest iOS version since apps created by Apple are the most compatible for its devices.
WE RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THE ELI APP FOR AN UPGRADED EXPERIENCE WHEN SCANNING ELI CODES AND/OR ELI BAR CODES.

ELI CODE® Recommendations
The most important practice for printing or displaying ELI Codes® is to validate that your customers can successfully scan your ELI Code™ without any difficulty.
When an ELI code is published it should be of a size that’s appropriate for the scanning environment it’s being put into. The finished printed size of the ELI code will be dependent on the distance between the ELI code and the scanning device – which determines the size of the ELI code in the viewport of the phone camera.
To effectively scan the ELI code it should appear to be at least 1cm (0.4 inches) across in the viewport of the scanning device, and as the distance between the camera and the ELI code increases, the size of the ELI code will need to increase to compensate.
Regardless of the size of the ELI code, the finished ELI code should be tested thoroughly in its intended final setting to make sure that it works at that size.
Always test your ELI Code. If you are not using the Envision ELI app, you should test use other scanning apps to ensure that your ELI Code is readable.
ELI code™ possibilities are nearly endless. Embed them on t-shirts, print ads, billboards, website, cards, etc., so, have a strategy and then have fun with it!
